So tomorrow Brad Pitt is filming at Fountainbleau State Park. I wonder if it means that it's picked up enough for birding again -- almost certainly it will be after they clean up afterwards anyway. It doesn't sound like they're using the boardwalk area though. Just the actual lakefront. I wonder if the boardwalk has been, ever will be, restored.

Yesterday the crew was on the Mandeville lakefront that's what we think of as Mandeville lakefront. They say that people stood around and waited to see if Pitt would show up, but he didn't. They're going to somehow photoshop him in to avoid having the general public see him in the aging make-up; apparently, he's playing an older man.

I remember JFK days, when I first moved here. Everyone for years who saw a white limo used to claim they'd seen Kevin Costner, but now Costner has been forgotten and, in any case, every kid who goes to prom has hired a white limo. We are jaded.

I played at a table with Brad Pitt at Mandalay Bay when MB was the cool new place. His average bet was less than my big bet and more than my small bet; no card counter he. He looked about like Brad Pitt.
