the child's child 2013-12-19 - 10:11 a.m. Really should not have started the new Barbara Vine (well, new to me anyway as the library just got it for me) novel at 10:30 PM. There is never a good place to put it down and take it break. A brother and a sister inherit a big ole house and decide to live in it together, which works out OK for a few paragraphs until the brother moves in the hot rich disturbed dude. Hilarity ensues...there's also a story within the story about a brother and sister in the early 20th century who live together posing as husband and wife. The brother's gay and the sister has an illegitimate baby, and the parents demand respectability, so that's their solution. More of the expected angst.
