endless sunny days 2013-10-16 - 5:07 p.m. We have splendid views of the Coit Tower and the water from our hotel room in San Francisco. I forgot the cable for the camera, so I guess I won't be posting any "real" photos until I get back. We have already strolled a long way in the cool morning, visited the sea lions, taken a cruise of the Bay and sailed under the bridge, and inspected the aquarium with its entertaining bright orange octopus who seemed to be thriving on human attention. We had a rather large breakfast that included Mexican coffee (meaning it had Kahlua in it for the sweetener) and huevos rancheros with lots of black beans. I'm about ready for the long winter's nap before we head out for foo-foo martinis at the Top of the Mart tonight. But it's a bit hard to really snooze under the bright gaze of what seems, to us, to be San Francisco's eternal sun.
