green drink 2015-05-05 - 10:13 a.m. I guess after the wretched excess of the weekend, it's time to get healthy. Yesterday was fish and fruit -- tuna, tilipia (crispy fried tho...sry!), a pint of blueberries made into a smoothie, a mango. Today is supposed to be the full-bore smoothie day. The morning version is kale, collards, green apple, half a large lemon. Oddly it tasted of cinnamon. Maybe it was a fancy salad kale, I dunno...Here's the shitty insta with the sun shining through. A far cry from vacation: 11:15 AM OK, this is freakin' hilarious. The Carolina Wren was taking a bath. The Carolina Chickadee tried to dive bomb to get her to hurry up. Instead, the wren started the bath all over and took a nice long soak and splash and shake while the Chickadee waited on the hummingbird feeder hook. However, this story has a happy ending. The Chickadee is taking a nice long bath now even as I type...I can't believe how much birds love this stone mosaic bird bath!
