paperwork is a disease 2015-08-14 - 11:23 a.m. Stupid questions at the hospital. They asked me some dates when some medical events happened and I'm like...I dunno...how am I supposed to remember whether something happened when I was 11 or 13 or whenever? So I said, can't you look it up in your past records, and she's like, no, but it doesn't matter. So if it doesn't matter, why are you snooping around for? Then the insurance gatekeeper wanted my social, and I'm like. No. I don't give my social at the doctor's any more. Haven't for years. You have my license. You have my insurance card. You already have enough information to steal my identify. And since DH's information was already used by some scammer in their Houston billing office...I'm just no. "But we use it to look you up." So I'm like, "Can't you find another way?" Since you already know EVERYTHING about me since the time I was 11 or nine or whenev? Turns out it was absolutely zero trouble for her to find those records WITHOUT my social. So there. Speaking of, apparently Houston called DH yesterday and admitted they could see he wasn't the one who made away with their money. Yeah, we'd know if we had their money.
