Our neighbor's house across the street might be a total loss. Scary. It makes our mess look not so bad.
I didn't even recognize the side of the house when we drove up and found the siding ripped away to leave these two large holes.
If you ever wondered what was really under that siding, apparently not a heck of a lot. Gives you a real secure feeling, doesn't it? Still, for a house made of not even cardboard but apparently of some kind of fabric, it managed to not let the roof blow off. We actually had a lot more damage from Bill. 
The wind also tried to tear off the other side of the house. In fact, it appears that Katrina tried and failed to tear off the roof. The siding was puffed out, and the electric meter is a mess, but if we can get our hands on an electrician with a free moment, we should be able to get this mess repaired easily enough.
Other damage includes our wooden privacy fence, which is thrown down in two places where you can see a tornado tracked through it, and the ceiling tiles in the dining room which came raining down to the floor.
