think about what matters most, and modest too 2012-03-26 - 7:10 a.m. Been working through a bit of my scrap paper. In 2003, I collaged one side of my big metal file cabinet. For some reason, maybe something like a tree falling on my head out of the sky, requiring an entire re-build of my office, I never got around to collaging the other side. It never seemed urgent, because it's on the computer side, facing me, so it's always covered up with little scrippy-scraps of notes and “to-do” lists. Well, I finally got off my duff and slapped some glue and paper on it. It's dry now but after it has fully cured for 24 hours, I can slap the scrippy-scrap of notes back on top. The 2012 side is uptop, which you can tell because the Yellow Rail Festival doesn't go back to 2003. And, yes, that's Cookie eating peanut butter, the same photo that used to be in my mousepad. The poor mousepad finally completely disintegrated during my travels in South Africa, probably because it dates back to before the internet bust. It was some giveaway in 1999 or so, from some financial or insurance company that just discovered the internet, giving away mousepads that accepted your own photo, with the exhortation on the frame part of the mousepad to, “THINK ABOUT WHAT MATTERS MOST!” Cookie assures me that he fits in that category. back - next All Rights Reserved, Copyright 2002-2017 by Elaine Radford
