Peachfront Report: A third empty egg was tossed out of the nest today, but there are still two eggs in the nest. Conclusion: Ronnie has laid another egg.

Last night DH and I ate the hibachi dinner at Osaka's. He had the beef teriyaki, while I had the filet mignon and shrimp. It was all good, but I secretly think that my steak was way, way better than his steak. I wore the beigey-yellow leather pants, a black turtleneck, the dinosaur bone beads, and, yeah, you guessed it, the "like crockwork" boots.

Afterward we ran into the grocery store to pick up a couple of items, and I mentioned that Mercury should be visible in the west beneath (actually a good bit beneath) the slim arc of the moon. DH expressed his skepticism. However, when we emerged from the grocery store after full sunset, I looked to the west and there it was. I think DH was a little surprised. But I haven't forgotten quite all of my astronomy.

We've seen Mercury together at least three times, once in Manchac, once on the night of the six moons and six planets, and now last night.

It's a beautiful spring day for a garden almost completely gone wild. Where to begin?
