triple coupons 2003-09-05 - 11:19 a.m. Hummingbird Report: At least two glorious adult male R-Ts remain, in addition to a female/immature. This morning, I decided to try out the triple coupons promotion at Sav-a-Center. I am now confident that, even with triple coupons, it is still cheaper to cook from scratch. But the cashier and the bagger were certainly impressed, as I got $20 off of $46, which is not too bad for some indulgence food. There were three more tomato hornworms -- huge ones -- this morning. Two of them were on the only banana pepper plant to survive the oak tree fall. Grrrrr. I saw a dead Luna Moth covered with ants in the parking lot of the video store. It seems I never see a live one any more. The last one I saw before this was being chewed up and consumed with some difficulty by a Brown Thrasher in my backyard. around 1:30 P.M. There is a mostly three hummer, but sometimes four hummer, battle royale taking place in the backyard. No one is allowing anyone else to feed for any length of time.
