turkey vulture joins the yard list
2005-03-10 - 7:53 a.m.
I found a broken egg shell in the flight cage, but Ronnie is sitting too tight for me to tell if she has a chick or just some unfertilized eggs. The silence in the bird room makes me pretty suspicious.

I made a trout almondine last night that was absolutely fantastic if I do say so myself.
the 9:30 A.M.
My yard was just cruised by a low-flying Turkey Vulture.
Note: Don't forget to read all about my Munich trip starting right here, or go back a few weeks to read about my Paris trip starting right here.
Third and Final-for-Now Notice: OK, today I checked all the links in the "birding" diaryring. If your diary appears to be locked or closed, I removed you from the ring. It doesn't mean I don't want you here! The only reason I remove people is because I think that other people can't see your diary, and the whole point of the "ring" is for like-minded people to be able to find each other. If I removed you by mistake, or if you decide to unlock your diary at any time, I hope you will consider once again joining the birding diaryring.
