turn the page 2013-09-30 - 7:43 p.m. Not a good day. So much trouble walking that I have taken the penultimate valdecoxib. Considering I had eight when they were taken off the market in 2005, I suppose I have done pretty well. That's fewer than one a year. But it's still a bit alarming that only one remains. Surely they should have invented another nonnarcotic pain medicine by now. Some dude in a truck drove off the bridge right before rush hour, thus closing the bridge and delaying DH's arrival home by about 90 minutes. He was not pleased. At the time I thought it was a suicide but now apparently there's some evidence that it was just bad driving. Although it's difficult to understand how bad you can drive and go off the Causeway in the middle of the day in traffic...it's a perfect straight line. They have not found the body. In fact, they've given up and say they will resume searching again tomorrow. One of my aunts got in touch with me lately and asked for my address to send me something. I didn't really catch the clue I was supposed to catch, I guess. She has passed away.
