xmas loot 2010-12-16 - 9:41 a.m. I never seem to get well, and it's getting a little tiresome. The contest to see "who got more cookies for Christmas" this year is now closed, as my Dad's gift wandered in, and my parents have edged out his parents. Tee hee. I already told my Mom that the cash will be going toward the rockshop stone-cutting refurb. I'll have to send out thank you notes later today. Pretty sure Dad no longer reads his email. DH's cash is apparently going toward some kind of home entertainment center re-do, but I was probably too busy sniffling and coughing and didn't catch the details. Despite my lack of energy and ambition, I actually fixed a good home-cooked dinner last night, fancy salad with artichokes and balsamic vinaigrette, steak marinated for 24 hours, baked potato with cheese and home-grown chives. However, in the interest of the low-carb diet, I noticed that DH slipped Cookie some of his baked potato.
