twelve years later i'm all about the trivia frankly 2013-09-11 - 10:21 a.m. Sheesh. If I was iTunes I wouldn't stream that concert too eagerly either. Not their best to put it mildly. Evidently cocaine is still cool in England. I vote you leave it to the no hopers, honey. Speaking of crack, some dude in Arkansas got taken out a couple days ago in a shoot-out with police at the tender age of 107. That's the shitty thing about crack, apparently. It doesn't kill you. Somebody actually has to pick up a gun and put an end to the misery. I'm not saying I know 100% for sure the 107 year old was a crackhead but what other drug wouldn't kill you long before then? Even aspirin would have put a hole in your stomach way before 107. This whole Lou Reed meets R&B thing on my new album is really brilliant though. In fact, it reminded me that back in the day I used to play VU featuring Nico pretty much every day. For years. That and Talking Head's 1977. Well I still listen to 1977 all the time. I had to quit blasting "Heroin" and "Waiting for the Man." The other half couldn't stick "feedback as a musical instrument." So I was amazed to see it was already in my iTunes library somehow (as was 1977 and several other TH albums) so I played it last night. It's still brilliant. Although I stand amazed Lou Reed lived this long. They even gave him a new liver. Yeah, I realize iTunes is supposed to pick up all your albums but it clearly only picked up a few.
