oh, canada, canada, canada 2003-03-24 - 8:35 a.m. The White-Throated Sparrow was singing this morning. They do sing in winter, but I have not heard anything like this before. I am not sure if I haven't heard it because they weren't singing, or if I haven't heard it because I am having such a struggle learning the different bird songs and, most times, you don't hear (or see) what you don't know. I cannot hear the phrases you are supposed to hear in this song: "Oh, Canada, Canada, Canada," or "Old Sam Peabody, Peabody, Peabody." Maybe you have to be a Canadian or a Yankee to hear these phrases. later I tried to photograph the collar-style necklace I made yesterday -- Biwa stick pearls, Labradorite (also known as Spectrolite) spacer beads, moonstone and sterling silver clasp.
