S-bahn train in Munich, Bavaria
 2005 by Elaine Radford
Note: Don't forget to read all about my Munich trip starting right here, or go back a few weeks to read about my Paris trip starting right here.
I'm finally over the jet-lag, I think, since I stayed awake until a normal hour last night and awoke at a normal hour this morning. All week I've had this ridiculous craving for tomatoes, and I think I've burned my mouth a little. What's that about?
I did it after my trip to England last summer also, but heck at least the tomatoes in question were June-ripe from my garden. These are Great Value Walmart Italian diced canned tomatoes. Weird!
Anyway now I've got to start planning for another trip to Panama. It will be a guided trip, but I think it would be nice if I reviewed the Spanish names for numbers and menu items. Also, I need to refresh my memory of some of those confusing flycatchers.
I said the next time I went, I would tear out the plates and carry them separately because the book is so large, but now I find I am reluctant to manhandle my book like that.
later
Just got our state income tax refund. Wow. I thought I filed the return just before I left for Munich, so that seems like a pretty fast turn-around to me.
