my baby is about to get out of the hospital
2013-02-18 - 6:06 p.m.
Whew. What a day. I wrote a story on inflight farting, thanks to a tip from my friends on Twitter. I'm sure they are thrilled.
Last week was Mardi Gras and all, but I was starting to worry, so I called the car repair place today. The lady was all, "Oh, I dunno, I'm going to have to get someone in the back to call you back and talk to you." Oh no.
No one called back...until she did it herself while I was cooking dinner. "Your car is ready."
Yay! Except...now I have food in the oven, and I'm not ready. I'll have to get it tomorrow. Can't wait.
For the new job, the virtual water cooler and conference room, if you like, is on Facebook. Not the best designed site in the world if you ask me, but nobody did.
