conures on the move 2013-12-18 - 9:39 a.m. Courtney and Dale seem to love the new winter quarters. However, I think it is now going to warm up so they're back outside in their flight cages as of ten minutes ago. I still have a few dollars left from my Christmas check. Maybe I will upgrade Sheldon and Ronnie's winter cage as well. The current option is already roomy enough but it's quite heavy. Hmmm. I now have all five of The Strokes album on my phone on its own playlist. Put it on shuffle, and you have all the alienation and angst that you could ever need. But after all these months my so-called smartphone still holds mysteries. For example, it has the greatest hits of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers. I once had that record -- and by a record I don't mean a metaphor, I mean a thing on vinyl that gets all scratchy and jumpy -- and we somehow converted it into MP3s back in the day when we decided to toss out all the LP records and indeed all of the annoying record players with their annoying needles constantly needing to be replaced. So considering this album dates back to the 80s, how is it on my phone and NOT on my computer? There's a step skipped somewhere, yes?
