the endangered crowned solitary eagle -- my humble photographs

The other guy, who has professional equipment, got some truly spectacular shots of the endangered Crowned Solitary Eagle that we enjoyed during our northern Argentina raptor tour...but his fine photos will be appearing in professional publications. For now, you will just have to enjoy these teaser photos caught with my tourist camera held together by aluminum foil.
Yes, it was a hot day in an area where words like "infierno" and "muerto" appear in the place names. The bird is panting a bit. But he still had the energy to turn his head and give me "eye bumps," instead of the full flirt of his cute crest, whenever I tried to snap his photo.
These aren't great photos, but please don't steal them, as this is a rare bird that we spent a lot of time seeking out in the wild. If you would like to use them on your site, simply ask. Thanks...
