We whimpered and moaned and looked very sad, but there were only three seats left --obtainable with much difficulty -- and I ended up in a middle seat. Talk about luck. When the two ladies approached my aisle, the blonde in the aisle asked ME if I was willing to swap so she could sit next to her friend. Who gives up an aisle? Of course I said yes. We landed in Iguazu and immediately spotted Guira Cuckoo, Greater Ani, and wonderful looks at the 3 largest toucans -- Toco, Green-billed/Red-breasted, and Chestnut-Eared Aracari. Green-billed is a life bird for me, and what a beauty. Other birds include: Pale-Vented Pigeon Plumbeous Kite Roadside Hawk Black Vulture Rufous Thighed Kite (a single perched bird) Southern Caracara Great Kiskadee Swallow Tailed Kite Banded Pigeon Fork-tailed Flycatcher Tropical Flycatcher Rusty-Margined Guan Alas, the guan is a better view desired -- I had splendid looks from the neck down but I never saw its head clearly.
