fun with twitter 2014-09-13 - 7:35 a.m. The person who has tired of Twitter has tired of life and all that. But I'm amazed at the persistence of the tweeps who try to help out the beautiful musician with his spelling and grammar. It's funny how I have all these news feeds set up, and I used to actually use Twitter to keep track of current events. But at the moment I continue to wallow in my apathy and instead I follow such breathless breaking news as the sensitive musician live tweeting being tossed out of a restaurant for dressing like a homeless man. Surprised it hasn't happened before, really, considering that he's worn the same pair of ripped jeans for the entire time I've followed him and presumably for many a year before that. When I had a friend over for a visit and was showing her my social media accounts, we were looking at one of his Instagrams that scrolled up in my feed and I'm just shaking my head. It's like five seconds after I tell her, "Here on Instagram I can follow fashion and what the cool people are wearing" and up pops a selfie of an alleged 31 year old in a grey hoodie and ripped jeans from 1991.
