Verizon thingy blinking now so I think the wireless battery is about to go. Heck, all the batteries are about to go. Might try to cook up some lunch on the electric frying pan using the car charger. Then drive around some more and charge up the computer and/or cell phone. I got a text that they said in the news that our power was on, and I called Cleco. Their map shows that our power is on. We have not even seen so much as a truck out here. Liars! However, I was afraid to make anybody mad so I very sweetly informed them that nobody in our neighborhood had power and we can't understand these reports. I hope they do something. She said call back if the noon report is still wrong. Which I strongly suspect it will be since I have seen absolutely no evidence of anyone doing any work.
