drama in the parking lot the sequel

The loggerhead shrike defeated the evil intent of the horrible squirrel. Last week I wrote about a little drama in the parking lot, well, today I heard a scratchy little baby bird crying for food from that tree. What to my wondering eye did I spy but the most adorable fledgling Loggerhead Shrike calling for food! Which means the nest was saved, yay. So often, you never learn the ending of these little dramas.

Two days ago, I watched an angry Crow chase around a pair of adult Red-Tailed Hawks. One of them, presumably the female, was noticeably larger, and the Crow focused its rage on trying to hit that bird on the back. Courage!
