The A/C guy came by last night to top off the freon. Nice guy but it was a comedy of errors because some tool was lost in one location on the wrong side of town and the old-time freon bottle was across the Madisonville Bridge. The job was finally done after dark. Felt a bit bad about calling the guy out rather last minute but we figure he earns his whole year's living in the summer because he didn't seem upset at all. Just overworked!

What is it about the English word "lovebirds?" Agapornis isn't in fact an English word, but it's fine, since it's the right genus. Inseperable can be figured out with a little thought. But it's a bit over-the-top that Google Translate thinks the word (character?) for lovebird in simplified Chinese is the English "peony" or, sometimes, just "flower." The two lifeforms aren't even in the same frickin kingdom...Good thing the exuberant Chinese lovebird sellers love to include plenty of photos of the breeding aviaries of the "peony" in question.

As for translating the words for the various pigeons, forget it. There's nothing for it except to pull up each photo of each pigeon that's on the market and figure out for yourself what it is...
