this house smells like popcorn 2014-01-21 - 9:12 a.m. Maybe I'll be able to get something done today, now that I have a mouse again. One of the birdie popcorns in the Christmas gift package didn't pop. It just burned and made the house smell like popcorn. However, the very last popcorn cob popped properly and Cookie spent hours eating it last night. You're welcome, Cookie. This winter seems endless, and now there is more freezing weather coming. Ugh. Someone said that the Iceland Gull might have finally departed. I'm surprised considering all the free food, but maybe the bird started to question the wisdom of migrating to a winter location that still gets freezes. You could stay in Iceland for that. Jif by jif and meme by meme, thanks to Tumblr, I feel like I've now seen the entire BBC series about the tragic and heavily closeted love between Sherlock and Watson. I guess I'm a terrible human being, but I signed up to follow fan blogs about hot guys in their late twenties, not a couple of middle-aged dudes who still haven't figured it out. But I guess I can't really blame the bloggers. Apparently this series is the biggest thing in slash since Kirk/Spock in TOS. So they're going to cover it. My boots are supposed to be delivered today. I hope the swelling in my foot has gone down enough that I can try them on.
