snow and snow owls 2014-01-24 - 8:40 a.m. No snow or sleet in Mandeville, at least not to my knowledge. Apparently someone saw some snow at Mississippi state line. It's a good thing DH was able to come home last night. However, I just saw that the Causeway was closed due to ice, and he didn't come back home, so I wonder how he got to the office. They say there's sleet in Slidell so it could be a two hour trek to get down to Harahan. They're calling it Sneauxmaggedon in Baton Rouge, where they did have snow and the city is closed off because all the roads are closed by ice. Stay home if you can, people.
