A rather foggy, rainy gloomy day and night yesterday but the temperatures were back to normal, and I was able to let all of the birds out to play on the porch in the afternoon. Nyota's indoor play area got a good scrub while she was out there.
Of course she would rather be indoors with me, but oh well. A little outdoor time can't be bad.
She has this trick now where if the music goes out and I'm thinking and don't notice, she kinda flies up to perch on my chair to breathe down my neck. If I don't react, then she flies by close enough to smack me with one of her wings. If I still don't get a move on, then she perches on the giant computer monitor and insists. Occasionally she tries a few trills herself but she never gets any better and will never be able to carry a tune in a bucket.
I wonder when the swelling in my ankle will go down enough to let me wear my shoes. This is most annoying.
