I am now listed as a sponsor for
The Raptors of South America. Don't
worry, friends and neighbors, I was
asked first, so if anyone wants to make a
secret anonymous contribution, I'm
confident that
it's allowed. I was wondering what photo
they would use, since I'm a difficult and
camera shy
subject at best. If I don't have on hat
and sunglasses like a bank robber who
forgot his clown
suit, then I have on endless layers of
camera vest that makes me look twice my
actual size. But they
somehow found a photo where I had a face
and a body. Maybe too much of a body.
Yikes. Oh, and I never
look at the camera or, if I do, I put my
hand over my face like Lindsay Lohan
under arrest for DUI. So, yah,
a difficult subject. I'm a tad surprised
they found a photo at all. The one they used is
from the cloud forest at Siberia,
Bolivia.
Siberia, huh. I guess it's usually cold.
Well, not
on this trip. I was complaining about
why did I pack my heavy coat -- actually,
the IMOM's London
Fog heavy coat, but never mind about
that, I'll get it dry-cleaned before he
ever figures out
it made the trip to Bolivia -- and so
anyways. As you can see in the picture,
the coats are off, the vest is off, the
long sleeve button down shirt is off --
it was a little humid, sure,
it's a cloud forest, but "Siberia" no.
Not that I've ever been to Siberia. I
guess I should ask my sister.
