Don't forget to read my Paris trip report starting with
Part 1, and continuing with
Part
2,
Part 3, and
Part 4.
Whoo hoo. A very nice visit from a Blue-Headed Vireo who perched just above the back fence to give me a nice long look.
A short bird walk earlier this morning at Fontainebleau State Park. They're doing a lot of construction work. No Bald Eagles, no "rafts" on the lake. Nice look at a female Northern Harrier and a restless Red-Tailed Hawk though.
Funny thing. We saw two American Crows with a fish head. There's no doubt about the identification. The two birds talked constantly about their find. Fish Crows showed up later, but they just hung out on the telephone wire.
Lots of American Robins. Lots of Yellow-Rumped Warblers.
OK, here's the list. Italicized birds were
seen outside the park only.
