floods, floods, tornadoes, more floods -- SOOOO sick of the stupid storms

the new car goes swimming in the sudden storm of july 20, 2003 -- six inches of rain in one hour

Nothing like the stress of returning from a pleasant outing in one's national parks to learn that your neighborhood has been hit by torrential downpours and that there's more to come. So far, only garage flooding at our place. But the next door neighbor's house is flooded...again. The third time, I think. I'm not sure at what point you get mitigated, but isn't three or four times the charm? You don't know where to start worrying first, so knock on wood and don't think about the future.

Horrible storms, with tornadoes, in Folsom. I hope J. is OK.

Two of my three first class upgrades have already come through for my return flight. Go me.
