madagascar serpent eagle joins the life list 2007-11-23 - 1:42 p.m. Still in Madagascar. We are one of the few foreigners to have seen the Madagascar Serpent Eagle. Actually, someone told us (or we understood him to have told us) that only one foreigner had seen it, but as we encountered an American lady who was not that guy but who had also seen and photographed it, then we will take that for a flattering exaggeration. Still I wouldn't expect to land in Masaolo and be led to a nesting Serpent Eagle. This was truly something special that was not easily arranged. Even our guides were not guides but technicians who have assisted in the study of the local raptors for over a decade apiece. I'm told this is not a French keyboard but the new EU keyboard. It still makes me swear. Check in during December for the big update with photos and wild ass traveler's tales. I just took a tour of three Mada airports this morning and no bother about security screening since we started the morning at an airport where the plane of the day has its information scrawled on a chalkboard.
