not dino bone 2010-11-15 - 9:28 a.m. So the fine folks at the Rock Tumbler's forum have egged us on, and we have cut into our erstwhile "dinosaur bone." As they suspected, it is not bone, it is some kind of petrified wood. At this rate, I'll be around 300 years old before we have all of our material ID'd and cut. I need to figure out some kind of a plan. Mostly I just walk around picking things up and then putting them down and pretty much feeling completely overwhelmed. I found an old tobacco braid from the New Age days. I'm afraid that it had hints of mold on it. I felt bad about that, but I gave it a quiet burial in the pet cemetary. These days, we don't believe in burning tobacco. (Especially not a tobacco that might have a mysterious mold on it.) Everyone has gone over to sage. But I still didn't want to just toss it like garbage. Oh, and a few days ago, for various reasons, I told IMOM that I was considering switching to tournament poker. Haven't done it yet. Haven't committed to doing it yet. Haven't even done all the study and planning I would want to do before I even consider making the switch.
