moods 2004-03-29 - 12:58 p.m. The Halloween Lilies have poked their heads out of the ground. I suppose they will bloom in May, as they did in 2003, instead of October, as they did when I bought them. My first geranium of the spring has bloomed, and I see other buds forming. Spiderworts everywhere. I wonder what happened to the squirrelx diary. It has been over a week; I hope nothing is wrong. Maybe she and her intended ran off and joined the circus. I'm in a mood where I'm about ready to do the same. I should create one of those little mood buttons that some diaries have, but instead of one-note moods like "excited," "happy," and "bored," I would need buttons with phrases like, "mad enough to spit kittens" and "strangely resistant to dealing with telephones." I found a broken Northern Mockingbird egg and a probable mockingbird dropping on top of my mailbox. I hope it doesn't mean that one of my mockingbirds is suffering from egg-binding -- it was only about half of the egg.
